    In Manitoba, there are the Provincial Archives - they also hold the Hudson Bay Company Archives. There is also the Archives of Saint Boniface, as well as numerous church divisions that house their own archives. You can physically go to all of these places. The Provincial Archives of Manitoba are locked up like Fort Knox . . .

    As for the National Archives of Canada, you can access most of it online. However, if you had a chance to go, it would be worthwhile to physically dig through their stacks.
